Road Traffic Noise
Road traffic noise level contours for properties adjacent to a new road traffic layout. The method used to undertake the noise prediction is the CRTN (Calculation of Road Traffic Noise).
SSAC has been working with officials in local planning agencies to prevent incompatible development between traffic noise and residential properties.
A complete study following different road traffic noise scenarios have been developed to evaluate the impact of a new road layout at closest noise sensitive communities.
