Our environmental noise assessment study was carried out in two different parts and this is an ongoing process. We undertake a concise study of the area followed by a noise monitoring measurement of the existing ambient noise levels and background levels study at the site. We also study the existing noise sources, which can generate noise problem or we can predict the noise problem using calculation according to the most relevant International Standard. Finally we evaluate the actual or predicted value against the most relevant criteria, as well we assess whether complaints from local resident are likely to occur. The most relevant criteria in the majority of the cases that we have study are the WHO (World Health Organization) Guidelines for Community Noise, Noise Exposure Categories from PPG 24 (Planning Policy Guidance: Planning and Noise or specific guidelines from different local authorities.
